La Fondue Dumpling
Vegetarian recipe

Undoubtedly the most fun and easiest way to enjoy dumplings, the secret to this Asian-style fondue is its umami broth! (It's our 5th taste, along with sweet, salty, sour, and bitter.) Made with miso and enhanced with seaweed and mushrooms, it's so delicious you'll want to drink it as a soup after your fondue meal!

Choosing store-bought dumplings to prepare this recipe makes it an efficient and lively way to treat your guests! Don't forget to prepare a generous amount of broth, as the dumplings absorb a lot of water while cooking. Bon appétit!

    A few tips

    1. If you're not looking for a vegetarian recipe, replace the vegetable broth in this recipe with chicken or beef broth for an even stronger umami flavor! Shrimp, beef and chicken in all their forms will then be ready to be enjoyed.
    2. This recipe is perfect for making homemade dumplings. Just be sure to seal them well to prevent the filling from leaking into the broth!
    3. The surplus from this recipe will make an excellent soup, and you'll enjoy eating it this way even during the initial reinvented fondue meal, by preparing small bowls of dumplings, vegetables and broth!
