Dark Chocolate and Marshmallow Fondue

You won't want the gustatory escapade offered by this recipe to end! With its deliciously rich chocolate mix and unusual dipping treats, it's sure to please any sweet tooth!

  • Ingredients

    For the chocolate broth: 

    • 375 ml (1 1/2 cups) milk
    • 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp.) vanilla extract
    • 675 g (approx. 1 1/2 lb) 70% dark chocolate, chopped
    • 125 ml (1/2 cup) mini marshmallows

    Suggested toppings:

    • 12 strawberries cut into quarters
    • 12 butter cookies
    • 12 mini-cupcakes of your choice
    • 6 mini-cornets
    • 6 scoops vanilla ice cream
    • 2 bananas cut into slices
    • 2 clementines peeled and separated into quarters
    • 2 croissants cut into cubes
    • 1 apple cut into quarters
    • 1 pear cut into quarters
    • 304 g pound cake, cut into cubes
    • 250 ml (1 cup) raspberries
  • Preparation

    To make this fondue, you must use the corresponding ceramic bowl for your Evolution set. For more details, please consult our FAQ.

    1. Pour 1 liter (4 cups) of hot water into the Fondussimo pan. Add the ceramic container to the pan to create a bain-marie. Heat to 1.
    2. In a saucepan, combine the milk, vanilla and chocolate pieces. Heat over low heat, stirring with a wooden spoon until smooth. Stir in mini marshmallows until melted.
    3. Pour required amount of broth into ceramic container. Heat to 1 during mealtime.
    4. Serve chocolate broth with toppings of your choice.

    A few tips

    Add peanuts to the remaining chocolate fondue. Stir. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, form small balls or spread the mixture. Refrigerate. Then you've got a snack on the go!
