The Choco-Peanut Fondue

Lovers of the famous confection made with peanut butter and chocolate, wait no longer; your wish has finally been granted. Fondussimo's Choco-Peanut Fondue is a melt-in-your-mouth, yet crunchy feast that's equally delightful as a dessert or a sweet and savoury breakfast. Figs, bananas, croissants and brioche bread will be deliciously coated with this classic and irresistible flavour duo.

  • Ingredients

    When using the Evolution Mini, reduce the amount of ingredients by about one-third.

    For the fondue:

    • 375 ml (1 1/2 cups) 35% cooking cream
    • 10 ml (2 tsp.) teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 160 ml (2/3 cup) crunchy peanut butter
    • 400 g (approx. 1 lb) milk chocolate, chopped

    For the toppings (as desired and to taste):

    • Waffles, cut into pieces
    • Grain squares
    • Brioche bread slices, cut into quarters
    • Marshmallows
    • Mini croissants, cut in half
    • Pancake quarters
    • Banana slices
    • Gala apple quarters
    • Strawberries
    • Mango cubes
    • Half figs
    • Pineapple cubes
  • Preparation

    To make this fondue, you must use the corresponding ceramic bowl for your Evolution set. For more details, please consult our FAQ.

    1. In a saucepan, combine the cream, vanilla and peanut butter. Bring to the boil, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.
    2. Add the chocolate to the pan. Stir until melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
    3. Transfer the mixture to the ceramic bowl of the fondue pan.
