Chocolate Pie

Looking for an easy dessert to whip up? Here it is! Of course, you'll have to prepare our delicious Dark Chocolate and Marshmallow Fondue first (and resist eating all its yummy mix at once), but you'll be won over by the creaminess of this truly unusual ''leftover''!

Pssst! It's just as delicious with other Fondussimo chocolate fondues!

  • Ingredients

    20 to 25 cookies

    4 or 5 cones

    80 ml (1/3 cup) melted butter

    Rest of chocolate fondue

    Rest of fruits

  • Preparation

    1. In a food processor, place the cookies and cones. Process until fine crumbs form (330 ml - 1 1/3 cups of crumbs required).
    2. Mix the breadcrumbs with the butter in a bowl.
    3. Transfer the mixture to a 23 cm (9") diameter tart tin. Even out the surface by pressing the bottom and sides of the tin together. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. 
    4. Meanwhile, place the remaining chocolate fondue in a separate bowl. Microwave for 1 minute at a time, stirring between each beat, until the mixture is fluid. 
    5. Pour the fondue into the mould and smooth the surface. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours, until completely set.
    6. Just before serving, garnish the tart with the remaining fruit.
