Preparation
To make this fondue, you must use the corresponding ceramic bowl for your Evolution set. See our FAQ for more details.
Preheat the oven at 180 °C (350 °F).
In a bowl, whip the cream cheese with the sour cream and Italian herbs using an electric mixer. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer the mixture into the ceramic bowl and smooth the surface.
Place half of the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese mixture. Top with pizza sauce, parmesan, and mozzarella. Top with the remaining pepperoni slices.
Cook in the oven for 13 to 15 minutes.
Set the oven to broil and continue cooking for 2 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
Place the ceramic bowl in the fondue set containing the appropriate amount of water, and set it to the desired heat level (usually between 1 and 3).
A few tips
Feel free to vary the toppings you dip into this recipe, drawing inspiration from your favourite pizza varieties! Bacon and olives, cooked chicken pieces, or even ham and pineapple... Bon appétit!
If you ever (surprisingly) have leftovers after enjoying this dip, reuse them on pizza dough, which will be even better when baked in a pizza oven... just saying!
