La Fondue Pommes et Chai

This is a sweet fondue that will satisfy your wildest gourmet dreams. It is a spectacular and easy-to-make recipe that is great for dipping waffles, pancakes, muffins and fruit in a decadent broth made from freshly squeezed apple juice. The natural acidity of the apple provides an amazing taste balance, while intoxicating scents will waft through your kitchen.

Also enhanced with vanilla chai tea, our Apple and Chai Fondue pairs wonderfully with the gourmet notes of our sweet Dulce de Leche and Pumpkin dip.

Fondue is just as much fun as a brunch as it is for your festive dinners, so both young and old will ask for it again and again!

    A few tips

    • Cow’s milk tends to curdle in the presence of an acid. This is why we suggest a plant-based milk in this recipe. If you want to use cow’s milk, you still can. Just strain your broth through a fine strainer to remove the curds.
    • Some ingredients, such as store-bought waffles and small muffins, soak up the broth very quickly. It only takes 15 to 20 seconds for best results. Take it one bite at a time!
    • This vegetarian recipe can also be enhanced with proteins such as pork tenderloin, breakfast sausage balls, smoked meat or pulled turkey breast.
