Your questions, our answers
Can I use the Fondussimo set to make bourguignonne, chocolate or cheese fondue?
We created the Fondussimo to make classic broth fondue. It’s durable, versatile and can be used for other purposes at your discretion, but keep in mind that the warranty could be null and void if deterioration happens due to misuse. Furthermore, take note that the Fondussimo’s generous 3-liter capacity is not ideal for fondue styles that are normally prepared in smaller pots.
What other uses are there for the Fondussimo set ?
The 2-in-1 multifunctional Fondussimo set can be used as a fondue pot or as a traditional electric pot. You can use it to boil or sauté a wide range of ingredients and prepare tons of different recipes, such as soups, stews, risottos and sauces.
Can the Fondussimo products be purchased in stores?
Head over to the Retailer section of our website. You will find a map that identifies our retailer’s locations and contact information.
How much broth should I use in my Fondussimo set?
The Fondussimo bowl has a diameter of 10.5 inches and is 3 inches deep. It can contain up to 3 liters of liquid. We suggest using a minimum of 2.6 litres of broth for a fondue meal.
Are there or will there be promotions to purchase Fondussimo products at a lower price in the future?
Our high-quality products are made with durable materials and are always offered at the best possible price. Follow us on Facebook or subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date on our latest news, contests and offers.
Is the Fondussimo set electric?
Absolutely! The Fondussimo multifunctional two-in-one set is equipped with a 36-inch power cord that meets the standards for this type of appliance. If required, a three-prong extension cord can be used to add a bit of range to your fondue operation. The electrical components are 120V 60 Hz 1200W and include a controller to regulate the heating output. You can therefore heat up the broth in less than 10 minutes directly in the pot, without having to boil it first in another pot on the stove. However, we recommend the pre-heating step in many of our exclusive recipes.

Is the Fondussimo set dishwasher safe ?
In part! The Fondussimo set’s maintenance is made easier by the fact that its baskets, ring and lid are all dishwasher safe. Please note that the bowl itself must never be placed in the dishwasher or submerged in water since it contains electrical components. We recommend rinsing the baskets thoroughly directly after using them to make them easier to clean in the dishwasher.
Are the perforated baskets sold separately?
Is the Fondussimo set suitable for children?
The Fondussimo set should never be used without adult supervision. That being said, children love handling the ingredients and the baskets by themselves. It is up to the parent’s discretion to decide whether or not their child is mature enough to handle it safely. It is essential to stay vigilant to avoid cross-contamination and ensure that the proteins are sufficiently cooked.
